Hiya Friends! A beautiful Sunday to you!  It's early morning still with a half moon hanging in a hazy blue sky.  The leaves are only beginning to burst forth and we are desperately awaiting what everyone else calls Spring. Isn't it almost June?  If I were to walk up the hill right now, I would … Continue reading Maritime Folk Mittens

Latest pair of Elf Pine Socks ☺️🌙 Happy Friday the 13th ! #knittersofinstagram #handmade #knitting
Greeting the Cold Moon this morning (-15 C) 🌙 never does the moon not fill me awe and wonder ✨
Knit details 🌿 I packed 2 freshly knit sweaters to photograph during my hike in the mossy woods, picking winter berry along the way (we decorate our homes this time of year with this beautiful plant!) ✨ The grey Fairisle will be up in the shop shortly! Hope you enjoyed your day (we had a wee bit of snow, so I was gleefully happy!!) #knittersofinstagram #handknit #fairisle #winterberry
It rained so heavily this morning! The snow has completely washed into the rivers and it's mild enough to feel free in just a single layer ☁️ I always have so many hand-knit sweaters to choose from when I'm visiting my Mom (so bring none of my own!). She has baskets full going back to 1975 (I'll try to share more while I'm here!). This particular sweater is a recent knit but from a 1968 pattern that belonged to my grandmother ☺️ Although I long so much for snow this time of year, I love just the smell of the forest in the rain 🌲#vintageknits #getoutside #knittersofinstagram
The Pangur pattern is slowly coming along ✨ This is one of my test knits for the Pangur Ban sweater pattern which will be available in the new year, finally ☺️ (and all my plant loves are sleeping for the winter 🌿any winter care tips for succulents would be greatly appreciated!) ! #knittersofinstagram #lettlopi #doityourself #succulents
BlackBerry Mittens ✨ !! I just posted the simple pattern for these in our Ways of Wood Folk Etsy shop along with a couple of pairs of the mitts ☺️ Now to the stack wood in our basement and then package up some Christmas gifts with Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone ⚡(I feel like it's the perfect Christmas movie ☺️!) Enjoy your Sunday evening! #handknit #briggsandlittle #knitters
